Why ask?

When are people going to learn? The NFL Network asked Brett Favre if he is going to return in 2011. Favre responded with a “No”, sure like we have not heard that one in the past. This guy has lied to everyone several times already. What makes you believe this time he is going to tell the truth? Favre has played in the NFL for 20 seasons and said, “This is the last year of my contract”. The two ways I will believe Favre will not return next season are a NFL lockout or the season starts and he is not on an NFL roster. Other than that I will not believe anything which comes out of his mouth, and I really wish everyone would stop asking him the question. Haven’t you learned by now Brett likes to play mind games with people and he is also a control freak. Maybe this will be Favre’s last year or maybe in the new collective bargaining agreement the NFL will allow walkers for the elder on the field, I don’t know. Like so many years in the past we will have to wait and see. Just retire already Brett!
