I normally stick to talking about sports but this is something that I must mention because it is not getting the press which is deserves. As many of you know by now there were 33 miners thousands of feet below the earth’s surface. Well the Chile government has finally reached them and has begun the long process of extracting the men from the depths of the earth. Upon arrival to the surface the miners will be wearing a pair of Oakley sunglass to protect their eyes from any UV rays. The UV rays can cause serious damage to a retina which has not seen daylight in months! I personally love the Oakley brand but for a company to try and go under the radar to donate their products to help individuals who are suffering under extreme circumstances must be recognized. Oakley, I would like to say thank you for showing compassion and helping others.
