The Tampa Bay Rays win the AL East Title! Congrats to the Rays. It was a great way to go into the post season. The Royals are packing their bags and scheduling tee times, but they sure did put up one heck of a fight. In the end a costly 5-hole error ended their season. The Rays however showed they are willing to fight anyone until the bitter end.
Now with the Texas Rangers coming into town this week they are going to face Cliff Lee who might have a chip on his shoulder. He has not pitched extremely well against the Rays.
My biggest concern for the Rays is their batting. Where did all the bats go? The Rays only have one hitter over .300 batting average, that is not good! Hopefully they can turn things around and light up Cliff Lee and the Rangers!
