A-Rod hits number 600

Alex Rodriguez finally hits his 600th career home run to become the youngest to ever do so. After going hitless in his last 17 at-bats because all he was thinking about was hitting the big bomb. Now for all the individuals who say this is not a true accomplishment because he did this in the “Steroid Era” of baseball, I am going to say that is false. Steroids may give you a little more power, but it does not give you the hand eye coordination. To be able to put the sweet-spot of the bat on the ball 600 times is truly impressive. I do feel bad for Shaun Marcum who has now become “that guy”.
